The R2 Rush Coaching Special is for MBA & MPP applicants who want their essays polished and a quick strategy call with Kaneisha before the January deadlines.

We have a 3-business day turnaround package ($375) and a 1-business day turnaround package ($547).

Update 01/09/12: If you have a deadline on Jan. 10-11, you can still get your essays edited under the 1-business day turnaround package if you sign up by Monday Jan. 9 at 5 pm Central Time.

If you’ve written, revised, and even gotten outside feedback on your essays, but still have a feeling that they could be better somehow, then this package is for you.

The R2 Rush Coaching Special is $375 and includes:

One round of editing for all essays for one school or fellowship application
Are your essays too long? Your essays can be up to double the word limit, and we will cut it down for you.
Bonus! 40 min phone/Skype call with Kaneisha. You can have your call before or after your one round of editing, but you have to complete your call and your round of editing by January 31.

How the R2 Rush Coaching Special Works:

Step 1: You will email all of your essays that you want my team of editors to review. Send all of your materials in one continuous Word document. (It’s easier to edit that way.) This package does not include resume review.

Step 2: We will upload all of your materials into a Google Docs file. This allows us to see all changes that were made by time and by person and prevents us from having to email document versions back and forth. We review all of your materials, making edits and comments right on the documents themselves. Within 3 business days, we will share the Google Docs file containing all of your materials with you.

Step 3: You will self-schedule your consultation call where we will have a Skype call and go through your essays together–or talk about whatever you want to talk about!

Steps to Sign Up:

1. Review the terms of service.

2. Select the turnaround service you require from the dropdown menu below and submit your payment by clicking on the “R2 Rush” button (debit and credit cards accepted).

3. Once your payment is completed, visit this link to schedule your call. You can have your call during any “Open for Appointments” slot you see between now and January 31. Be sure to include your Skype name or U.S. phone number in the “Where” part of the appointment.

4. Email your materials to us at kaneisha@theartofapplying.com.

Note: We’re a lean team, and as much as Kaneisha loves talking on the phone, she doesn’t have unlimited time, so we’ve limited this package to the first 20 people who sign up. If you’re seeing this page, there are still slots left. We’ll put an obnoxious “Sold Out” page up once we’ve sold all the slots.

FAQ:

1. I don’t have all my essays ready yet! Can I still buy this package?

Yep! You can buy the package and use it any time you want between now and 3 business days before January 31.

2. Who will edit my essays?

Kaneisha’s small team of editors is standing by ready to whip your essay into beautiful shape. You can watch a video here of one of our editors, Millie, tearing up a client’s essay (with love) and then discussing it with me (with love).

3. Will Kaneisha read my essays?

You can use your 40 minutes however you want. If you want Kaneisha to sit down, read through, discuss, and line edit your essays with you before you pass them on to your editor, go ahead. If you want to have Kaneisha read through your essays with you after you’ve received your edit and revised your essay, feel free! My editors have you covered on style and content. Feel free to be as creative as you like with your 40 minutes, but it’s a live call and does not include any sort of pre-call prep, so we may not be able to cover everything you want in the 40 minutes.

4. Can I first get my essays edited and then use my call at a later time?

Sure. The entire shebang is over on January 31, though so be sure to have your calls and edits completed by then.

5. Can I use my 40 minutes to have a mock interview with Kaneisha?

You’re sneaky…but I kind of like it. As long as you are fine with me not having read your materials before the interview, sure we can do that! Just be sure to let me know ahead of time, so I can pull out my list of commonly asked questions. We’ll use your resume as the talking piece.

6. Can I use my 40 minutes to have Kaneisha review my resume?

Sure!

7. Can I split up my 40 minutes into two calls?

Um, no. But I still love you!
