Devin has been working to help applicants get into their dream schools, both as a test prep teacher and admissions consultant, since 2002. In that time, he has worked with over 2,000 students to improve and hone their applications, and can boast of having at least one former student in every top law and business school in the United States. He also literally wrote the book on the GMAT, having contributed two chapters to the course book used by an unnamed (but large and purple) test prep company, as well as numerous other consumer test-prep products. When he left the aforementioned company for grad school, he was rated as their top GMAT teacher in New York, and one of the top LSAT teachers in the country.
Devin graduated magna cum laude from Manhattanville College with a double major in theatre and history and a minor in English. Later, after acting a whole bunch in New York, he returned to graduate school to attend NYU’s Dual Degree Program in Producing, earning an MBA with specializations in Finance and Entertainment, Media & Technology from the Stern School of Business and an MFA in Film Production from Tisch School of the Arts.
In addition to his work as a consultant, Devin is an award-winning producer and screenwriter, whose films have screened at festivals all over the world. When things are going his way, he can be found either riding his motorcycle around New York City, underwater with a SCUBA tank on his back, or showing up on more TV game shows than any one person should.
