Ariel received a B.A. in Sociology from Tufts University in 2015. Her passion for words and service secured her a Balfour/Chenault scholarship and inspired her to join the Tufts Literacy Corp as a reading/writing tutor for local host communities. As Vice President of the Tufts Third Day Gospel Choir, she entwined words with music and sang for First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House.
As a freelance copy editor, Ariel discovered a passion for dissecting prose, refining and reassembling it so that it rings with meaning and power. In her current role as an Editing Specialist, she works with The Art of Applying® clients to transform their writing. Ariel applies her literary prowess to each application, elevating lists of events and accomplishments to authentic, compelling stories that thrill admissions committees.
If she’s not in a headstand on her yoga mat, you may find Ariel rewatching Harry Potter, decorating a friend’s new apartment, reading Wikipedia articles at random, or trying to parallel park.
