It’s important to us at The Art of Applying® that our consultants represent the variety of work experiences, nationalities, and lived experiences we find among our diverse clients.
When you work with The Art of Applying® consultant team, you will have a primary consultant and can draw on the expertise of our entire consultant team as necessary.

Breakthrough Coaches
Our Breakthrough Coaches are the first people you will interact with on our team. They are intensively trained and mentored personally by our founder, Kaneisha Grayson, to serve as the people who help graduate school applicants understand what’s working in their applications, what’s not working, where the applicant is, where they want to go, what it will take to get there, if we can help, and how we can help.
You first have a Quick Call with one of our Breakthrough Coaches. If they are confident we can help, they will invite you to have a 90-minute Breakthrough Call. Then, they will invite you to work with us as a client, and answer any remaining questions you have about the company, the process, and how it all works.
Support Crew
Our Support Crew thrives on teamwork, collaborating closely with the leadership, Breakthrough Coaches, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth delegation. From orchestrating a well-organized onboarding process to promptly addressing any concerns that arise during client engagement, they are dedicated to ensuring everything runs seamlessly. Additionally, they oversee the administrative tasks related to the everyday operations of The Art of Applying®.
Consultant Team
Our consultants work with our clients 1:1 via our Application Accelerator®. Our consultants are all graduates of top graduate schools, and have passed a rigorous selection process. Three of our consultants are actually former clients! Our consultants receive consistent mentorship from our founder and our more experienced consultants as well as monthly trainings.
