Application Concierge™ is a high-end executive admissions consulting package for the busy professional who wants to work closely with me, the founder of The Art of Applying® to receive the highest level of expertise, on-demand guidance, and have a time-saving team by your side.
I invite you to put my decade-plus experience editing and overhauling thousands of essays, resumes, and letters of recommendation to work for your applications.
I have availability to work privately with four Application Concierge™ clients in 2021.
Who this is for:
This package is for busy senior executives who want the highest level of help we have available and are willing and able to pay for that level of expertise and help.
This package is for political leaders such as Congresspersons, governors, and senior staff of high-ranking politicians, business executives, Olympic-level and professional athletes, successful entrepreneurs, and celebrities of other types from around the world.
Thus far, our most senior clients have been from the U.S. and countries such as Canada, China, Mexico, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Nigeria, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Sri Lanka.
The schools that are most popular with our executive admissions consulting clients are: Harvard Kennedy School MC/MPA and Mason Fellows program, Princeton SPIA MPP (formerly Woodrow Wilson School), Columbia SIPA’s EMPA, MIT Sloan Fellows MBA program, and Stanford MSx Sloan Fellows program.
While this package includes coaching for up to 15 applications, our executive admissions consulting clients are usually hyper-focused on Harvard Kennedy School and possibly one or two other programs.
What is included:
Engagement: The engagement will start as early as January 2021 and ends May 1, 2022. The engagement fee does not decrease if you sign up later than January 2021.
Editing: Unlimited editing for 1-15 applications. The package is the same price whether you apply to one school or 15. I am available to edit essays, resumes, letters of recommendation, email correspondence, and even the granular information you are required to include in the application form such as all awards you have received. The turnaround time is 3 business days after submission.
Email Support: Email support from Kaneisha between coaching calls. You will have a private client portal (there is a desktop app, mobile app, and web app) where you can submit any questions you have during your engagement.
Essay Starters™: Our Essay Starters™ are proprietary worksheets that help you decide on the best topic to write about for each essay prompt, and then help you pull the ideas out of your head onto paper in a structured way. Essay Starters help you go from a blank page to a first draft by simply filling out the worksheet.
Comprehensive Client-Only Resources: You’ll have access to all resources included in our signature program Application Accelerator® such as our Q&A Vault that has 200+ questions and answers about the application process as well as access to 100+ essays from our past clients who were admitted into their dream schools so you can learn by example what works.
Green Light Review: A month before each of your deadlines, all of your materials will be reviewed by our Green Light Review Committee, which is a small group of our consultants who read your materials from the perspective of the admissions committee and let you know if your materials are green lit (ready for submission), yellow lit (need 1-2 more rounds of editing), or red lit (need three or more rounds of editing). With our Green Light Review process, you submit your applications with peace of mind knowing that they have been thoroughly reviewed not just by your dedicated consultant Kaneisha but by another impartial reader who is reviewing your materials alongside 50+ other final-draft submissions.
Who you will work with:
Your main consultant will be me, the founder of The Art of Applying®, Kaneisha Grayson. All of your coaching calls will be with me (unless you’d like to use a few of your coaching calls to speak to other consultants on my team), and I will be the person providing your coaching via email. I look forward to working together!
I will also tap two of my best consultants on the team to add additional editing support so that we can have multiple sets of eyes and perspectives on your materials as well as multiple people highly invested in your success.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this for?
Application Concierge is for executives and senior professionals who can receive candid but kind feedback on their application materials, and are action-takers in the face of feedback. I will be making direct edits to and leaving lots of comments on your materials.
What can I do during a coaching call with Kaneisha?
You can ask me questions about any part of your application (including questions about scholarships). Some calls will be focused on application strategy issues such as what to write about for certain essays, whereas other calls will be focused on personal performance issues like time management, and staying organized. You can also have me live edit essays, resumes, and/or letters of recommendation.
How is this different than Application Accelerator®?
The main difference is that with Application Concierge™, you have access to everything included in Application Accelerator® as well as access to Kaneisha as your 1-on-1 coach.
If I’m too busy to have a live call with you, can I just send in my materials to be edited by Kaneisha?
Definitely. You should be sending in materials as you work on them, and I will get them back to you three business days later.
What is the reschedule policy?
Coaching calls with me must be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice and rescheduled to one of the slots on my calendar.
If you reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, you will need to pay a $100 reschedule fee.
What is the guarantee?
I don’t guarantee you’ll get into any particular school or receive any particular fellowship. However, our Get In Guarantee for Application Concierge™ is that if you do not get admitted to one of your target schools in the first season you work with us, you can be in our program Application Accelerator® during the next consecutive season at no additional fee. You will have a dedicated consultant who is not Kaneisha for your engagement.
What is the refund policy?
We do not offer refunds for Application Concierge™.
