Kettianne received her business degree from University of Michigan, Ross School of Business. At Ross, she focused her studies at the nexus of Human Capital and Entrepreneurship. She took advantage of Ross’ action based learning curriculum and enrolled in courses that enabled her to consult for organizations such as Oracle, the Michigan Academy for the Development of Entrepreneurs and a local Detroit based non-profit, Street Democracy. She was selected to be a member of the Zell Lurie Commercialization Fund, a student-run early-stage investment fund where they invested up to $50K in young startups in the local community of Detroit. She was selected to serve on the Women in Leadership Conference as a Communication and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion lead. Additionally, she was a member of Michigan Business Women, Design + Business and Black Business Student Association.
Kettianne was a Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) MBA Prep 2016 Fellow and Professional Development Fellow in 2017. She was a Forte MBA Fellow, a member of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM) and was elected to serve as a Consortium liaison for Ross. Throughout her time in business school, she was awarded a Forté Fellow Scholarship, a Dare to Dream Grant and an alumni Board of Governors Scholarship.
Prior to business school, Kettianne, an international development professional with a passion for global diplomacy, lived and worked in France, in the United Kingdom, in Spain and in Haiti. She worked at Accion, a nonprofit focused on microfinance and fintech, where she launched a board governance program in South Africa. She served as a Fulbright Public Policy Fellow for the Ministry of Women’s Affairs in Haiti where she worked on launching a gender based violence campaign. She received her Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London and her Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College.
Kettianne is currently a Management Consultant, where she focuses on Organizational Design and Leadership Development. She is a certified mediator (MA), facilitator and speaker, often leading trainings and speaking on professional development and the art of negotiation. She is the Founder and CEO of a workforce development company, Women With Purpose. In her free time, Kettianne enjoys watching dance videos on instagram, loves to go salsa dancing and finds bliss in eating tacos.
