Leah received her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management where she focused her studies on Social Entrepreneurship and Marketing. She was a Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) MBA Prep Fellow and Professional Development Fellow prior to Kellogg.
While pursuing her MBA, Leah spent a semester studying Finance and International Business at Esade in Barcelona, Spain, and facilitated a trip of 20 peers to Santorini and Mykonos as their introduction to Kellogg. In addition, Leah took an active role in a number of clubs, including the Black Management Association, the Kellogg Impact Consulting Club, and Mentoring Kids for Success, the latter of which involved teaching financial literacy to students in Chicago.
Most notably, Leah was the Co-Chair of the 32nd Black Management Association Conference, the longest running student-led conference at Kellogg. She co-led a team of 12 peers to plan and execute a day long conference, attracting notable speakers and hundreds of attendees. Leah was awarded the Dean’s Distinguished Service Award for her leadership during conference planning and other campus involvement.
Prior to business school, Leah worked in K-12 education as a Teach For America Corps member and a Founding Teacher and Grade Level Chair for a KIPP charter school.
She currently works as a management consultant solving complex business problems, including improving operational efficiency and organizational design. In her free time, she loves exploring new cities and attending music festivals.
