Stephanie began her career as a sports journalist in high school. She was Sports Editor at the Columbia Daily Spectator in college and pursued professional journalism after graduating magna cum laude from Columbia University with a BA. She was fundamental in creating the New York Yankees’ first website and served as their Editor in Chief.
At the Harvard Kennedy School, she wrote her Policy Analysis Exercise on diversifying hockey for the National Hockey League. Her PAE turned into a fulltime role at the NHL where she focussed on making hockey more inclusive. She continues this work today with clients at the forefront of sport social justice initiatives.
An experienced senior executive, Stephanie has worked with some of the most prominent sports organizations in North America. She founded All About Sports consulting in 2019 to support her clients in increasing opportunities for young people and building communities through sport at all levels. In Canada she has worked extensively in soccer, establishing the Marketing & Communications department at Ontario Soccer and helping lead grassroots clubs. She is currently an Independent Director on the Board of Canada Soccer.
As an undergraduate at Columbia, Stephanie was a double major in Spanish language and literature, and anthropology. She received an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School with concentrations in Press, Politics and Public Policy, as well as Business and Government Relations, and was Editor in Chief of The Citizen newspaper.
She volunteers with the Adoption Council of Ontario, Second Harvest, and serves on the Board of the Burlington Sport Alliance. Stephanie loves to travel and learn languages (she can speak eight of them so far). She is an exceptionally recreational athlete and a fan of all sports, as well as live music and art.
